He Is Faithful…Always
It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23
This week has been hectic while peaceful. God’s faithfulness has been evident to all who call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. He has especially held my family in the palm of His hand as we traveled to a family funeral. We had no idea it was this person’s time and God knew all along. His mercies are new each morning and He is our refuge and our strength.
Funerals bring families together and it was especially nice to spend extra time with our daughter as we had just visited with her at my son and daughter-in-law’s house last week-end. Family gatherings are the best source of strength here on earth. I believe God gave us earthly families to encourage us in the in-between times.
Great is Thy Faithfulness, Lord unto me. I pray you have the peace of Christ ruling your heart today as scripture says in Ephesians. All I have needed Thy hand hath provided, Great is Thy Faithfulness, Lord unto me. Thank Him for not changing. Thank Him that His compassions fail not. Thank Him for His Great Faithfulness to you, to me, to our families and the list goes on and on.
Until We Meet Again
1. Make a list of God’s faithfulness to you throughout your life.
2. Make a list of what He’s doing right now, today. Don’t miss His presence in your circumstances. He is working on our behalf every second of every day.
3. Give Him adoration for what He has done; what He is doing; and what He will do for us, His children.
