Refill Me, Lord!
What if He came today? Would you be able to stand? Today’s demands can leave us overwhelmed with tasks we must complete. Some old expressions come to mind such as: “Where there’s a will, there’s a way.” “The harder I go the behinder I get.” “My get up and go has got up and went.”” I feel like I jumped from the frying pan into the fire.” I’m sure you have some of your own but my favorite is “It’s not whether the glass is half full or half empty. What matters is that the glass is refillable.”
What matters is that our Heavenly Father knows exactly what our tasks are. He is with us. He will help us when we call on Him. He will refill our glasses to full! He will mend our hearts to full. He will give us peace that passes all understanding.
Refill my glass, Lord, as only you can.
Grateful I am that you know the plan.
Plans to take care of my every need
As well as plans to protect the ones I feed
My imperfect grands are my world
Gifts from you my special pearls
Guide me as I strive to be
A blessing to them as you are to me
Refill my glass, Lord, as only you can
For I’m trusting you to help me stand.

- Write Proverbs 3:5,6 on a notecard or sticky note and place it on the bathroom mirror, on your car dash, on your Nespresso, etc. Read it multiple times a day.
- Commit this passage to memory.
- Pray, Pray, PRAY!!!

God is SO very good and I believe things are hectic right now because your light is shining brightly for HIM! Satan would have you “hide it under a bushel” as the song goes. But you have accepted the tasks He’s called you too! And as you begin another busy day, He will refill you and give you all the understanding, energy and patience you need. What a joy to know we do not face things alone. He goes before us and is with us!
